On March 13, the Triple B team was on the ground in Fort Lauderdale for RacquetX 2026, one of the most dynamic global gatherings of the racquet sports industry.
Bringing together operators, investors, brands, clubs, and athletes from across the ecosystem, RacquetX continues to position itself as a key platform where the future of racquet sports is actively being shaped.
For us, this year’s edition was particularly meaningful.
It marked an important milestone for one of our portfolio companies, INTENNSE, as the league stepped into the spotlight with two defining moments:
The first-ever open professional tennis draft
A live “Surge” showcase, bringing its fast-paced, team-based format to life
A New Format, A New Standard
At RacquetX, INTENNSE didn’t just present an idea: it demonstrated a working model. The league’s inaugural draft introduced a fundamentally different approach to professional tennis:
80 players selected across 10 teams
Guaranteed salaries and contracts totaling $2.8M+
Equal structure for male and female athletes
In a sport historically rooted in individual performance and fragmented earnings, this represents a meaningful shift toward stability, equity, and team-driven competition.
From an investment perspective, this is where we see long-term value:
👉 Rebuilding the economic model of the sport
👉 Enhancing athlete longevity and incentives
👉 Creating a more engaging product for modern audiences
Energy You Can’t Fake
Beyond the numbers, what stood out most was the energy on the ground.
From the INTENNSE booth to the draft arena, there was a clear sense of momentum:
Coaches actively building teams in real time
Players engaging with a new competitive structure
Fans and industry stakeholders leaning in with curiosity
This kind of response is difficult to manufacture — it signals real product-market resonance.
The Triple B team was on site supporting INTENNSE and capturing the moment.
We produced a series of live content snippets — soon to be released — featuring insights from key leaders across the league, including:
Andrew Satinoff (Co-Founder & VP Media Production & Operations)
Karla Vickovic (Marketing Director)
Yannick Yoshizawa (Co-Founder and VPX)
These perspectives help unpack what makes INTENNSE different: from format innovation to fan experience and athlete-first design.
At Triple B, we back companies that challenge established systems and build new categories.
RacquetX 2026 reinforced our conviction:
👉 Racquet sports are entering a new phase of growth
👉 Formats, business models, and audiences are evolving
👉 And INTENNSE is positioned at the intersection of all three
We’re excited to continue supporting the team as they move toward the 2026 season launch.
More to come soon!
