Triple B today announced their investment in Klura Labs, the Cambridge-based technology company transforming how fresh food moves through global supply chains.
Klura Labs develops breakthrough materials that work as a companion to fresh food - prohibiting the growth of mould and harmful bacteria that enables food to stay fresher for longer.
Each year, nearly one-third of all food produced worldwide is wasted. Klura Labs’ technology directly addresses this challenge by reducing spoilage, improving logistics efficiency, and helping retailers and suppliers deliver fresher products to consumers and protect their margins.
Triple B has participated in Klura Labs’ funding round of £7.7 million to support their go-to-market strategy. The investment in Klura Labs strengthens Triple B’s commitment to a better food industry and reinforces its belief in Europe’s food and food-tech expertise as a future global leader.
Founded in 2020 by Dr. Matin Mohseni and Dr. Reza Saberi Moghaddam, Klura Labs operates from a state-of-the-art innovation hub in Cambridge, partnering with food manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

In January, KluraLabs launched a product trial with a leading UK retailer - a key milestone in bringing the technology directly to consumers.
